So that you know why you can trust us, let us tell you who we are and what is important to us.

We are the staff of Longo Deutschland, a media company based in Augsburg in southern Germany. Longo Deutschland has been using digital technology to print on anything that will take a digital print since 1999. We create concepts for 2D and 3D objects and print on traditional and unusual materials in all kinds of shapes and sizes. And we’re always on the look-out for new ideas. In fact, one of our smartest ideas was setting up Tapeterie. That’s because:

We like wallpaper.
We think that wallpaper is a great way to decorate walls. And we’re not alone in this: even designers and interior decorators who showed no interest in wallpaper for years are now experimenting with the new wall decor.

We’re good at wallpaper.
Because we like wallpaper, we value quality. That’s why we manufacture our wallpapers ourselves from start to finish at our print shop in Augsburg. After all, as professionals in the printing industry we know precisely what it takes to manufacture a good wallpaper:

• • We have access to creative artists and photographers. Our motifs are created exclusively for us and you won’t find them on any other wall.
• • We are professional designers. We certify the picture quality of our photos and of the samples and works of art that we turn into wallpaper. No pixelated pictures and no noise.
• • We know a thing or two about paper. Our fleece wallpapers have a thickness of 280 g/m², making them durable and yet finely textured. And another thing: they can be stripped without leaving a trace on the wall.
• • We are professional printers. We’ll print your new wallpaper using digital technology – with precision and bright, light-resistant colours, as our technology is state-of-the-art.

Now you know why we set up Tapeterie. But Tapeterie isn’t just us and the wallpaper – it’s you, our customers, as well. So there’s still more we need to tell you:

That’s why we like to make it as easy as possible for you to select, order and hang your new wallpaper..

• • Selecting your wallpaper: You can click on all our motifs individually and look at them in full-screen mode. When you enter the dimensions of your wall, a frame with the proportions of your wall appears on the motif. This makes it easy for you to decide on the pane you like best in the motif.
• • Ordering your wallpaper: You can order your new wallpaper with just a few clicks. Every step of the order process is transparent for you.
• • Hanging your wallpaper: The quality of our fleece wallpapers makes decorating child’s play. But if you could do with some professional tips, we’ve produced a video for you as a step-by-step guide to hanging wallpaper. Incidentally, fleece wallpapers are easily dry-stripped, which makes it very easy if you fancy a change of wallpaper.

We put the creativity into cooperation.
We’ll turn your photographs and other templates, such as drawings, illustrator files and so on, into photo wallpapers. And we’ll check your templates and provide advice. We’ll make sure nothing stands in the way of your personalised wall decor.

We think fairness is important.

• • Our prices are transparent: as soon as you enter the dimensions of your wall you can see the price of your new wall decor.
• • The terms and conditions for ordering and dispatch and the T&Cs are fair and open.
• • We’ve even put ourselves up for scrutiny to give you even greater assurance: we’re a certified Trusted Shop, i.e. we have been assessed by commercial lawyers against more than 100 individual criteria.

This is why the production and shipping of your new wallpaper is CO2-neutral. And we are part of the “CO2-neutral Website” initiative: we neutralise the CO2 emissions produced by this website.
